SonicWall Intermittent VPN Tunnel Drop : networking My company in fact uses Sonicwall routers/firewalls exclusively right now. 11 locations, with multiple IPSec VPN tunnels between them. Some locations even have multiple internet connections for failover; VPNs work fine on those too! Aside from a NAT-T issue some months back, we have had zero issues with Sonicwall's VPN implementation. Sonicwall NetExtender and Global VPN Client cause packet So, for the last few months [starting end of November 2013], I had opened a call with Sonicwall using the website in that I had a few SSL-VPN [NetExtender] clients that would drop packets under a heavy load, RDP and TightVNC. For example, if they came in to our SSL VPN connection on a T1 at 1.5M, no packet loss and would work perfectly. VPN connects for 15-20 seconds then drops consistently
As stated below. I have a technician who is trying to use Sonicwall Netextender to connect to our VPN. It works fine 99% of the time, but he's having an issue where if he connects his phone or disconnects his phone, the VPN connection drops and he has to restart his computer in order to connect again.

His Sonicwall NetExtender connects fine but then if he plugs in his phone and unplugs it from the computer, the connection drops and he has to restart the computer in order to connect again. I thought it was isolated, but testing it on one of our machines I'm experiencing the same issue.
