Nov 21, 2013 · I added a subnet ip address on the same subnet as he VIP on the DMZ and I can ping the dmz gw now. but even opening up everything out to the internet, I am not able to ping the VIP ip. I looked into the above doc but there is a default rule with all intefaces binded. Re: Can't ping the default gateway The router does not have a route back to the server. You can try to test ping 10.1.200.1 source FastEthernet0/0.1, if it fails this is the issue.
